On 2 September 2010 the European Commission transferred EUR 30 million to Kosovo. This sum is the first tranche of a EUR 50 million EU Macro-Financial Assistance to Kosovo approved by the Council of the EU. It is a direct budget grant and was transferred to a government account at the Central bank of Kosovo.
Kosovo Energy Corporation has appealed to farmers not to burn field after harvesting their crops, for they are causing them problems.
Democratic League of Dardania is very concerned with the current developments in economy and economic policies in Kosovo, members of the leadership of this party, Mustafa Plana, said during a press conference in which he added that Kosovo has the lowest GDP in Europe.
